A new survey by Cosmo and AskMen.com reveals that 33% of women expect men to pay for most dates. 38% of women feel men and women should go Dutch. Other findings:

- 59% of men believe that they should pay for either all dates or the majority of dates until the relationship is established.

- 20% of women would dump a boyfriend if he got fat, while 48% of men would dump their girlfriend if she gained weight.

- 50% of men in their 30s have met a woman online. Men who are 35+ are the most successful at meeting women online and developing relationships with them. 24% of men from 35-39, 23% of men from 40-49 and 23% of men of 50+ have met a woman online and gone on to have a relationship with her

- 85% of men are okay with having a partner who makes more money than they do. 73% of women say that they would be okay with having a partner who makes less than them. 12% of women are already in a relationship where they make more money than their guy.

Niko Alm has been granted permission to wear a pasta strainer on his head in his driver’s license photo. The Austrian, who is a member of the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster, a light-hearted faith whose members call themselves pastafarians, says the strainer is his “religious headgear”. A medical interview established that Niko was mentally fit to drive.

Is the 3D movie revolution already dead? It’s starting to look that way. So far this year, ticket sales for 3D films are down 13%, and the recent sequels to “Pirates of the Caribbean” and “Kung Fu Panda” – two films that were expected to be major 3D hits – are actually selling more tickets on old-fashioned 2D screens! There’s even a new Facebook group you can join, called “We’re tired of 3D movies. Stop making them.” That’s bad news when you consider Hollywood studios are banking on 3D technology to help save the movie industry. In fact, they’ve scheduled TWICE as many 3D movies to be released this summer as last summer.
