SONiC’s Red on Whyte Canada Day party at the Pawnshop was a raging success! The night started off with the entire crowd singing Oh Canada. Then, instead of the face-off, opening pitch, or social studies class that typically procludes our national anthem, Christian Hansen and the Autistics took the stage; Christian donning an old fashioned red one-sie (butt-flap and all).

The Raptors put on a great show, (although attendance for their set was sparce because of the Canada Day fireworks). Johnny is quite the guitarist.

The Wet Secrets closed off the night — again in costume. Another really solid set. The group wore red and white high school band uniforms obtained from the Red Deer Royals.

Thanks again to the Pawnshop for inviting us to host.
