and to celebrate I want to share a few of my favourite places on this beautiful planet. Places I’d go again and again..and again…
Let’s begin in Prince Edward Island. I was born there, I was married there, I hope to retire there. Nowhere else on Earth am I more at peace.
Hop over to beauuuuuutiful Nova Scotia with me now, will you?
My stepdaughter Ryleigh-roooo:
and views like this:
Who’s THAT Handsome McCuters in the sweet ride???
Let’s continue, shall we? Fly with me to the Mayan Riviera, Mexico. Todd and I have been twice and from the moment we stepped off the plane, we felt at home and amongst Kindred Spirits in the Yucatan. It’s incredible and you should also go there, now.
So breathtakingly beautiful…
A little closer to home..Georgian Bay. I was so lucky to grow up on her shores……
(I’d just like to mention that I am pregnant in the above picture..not chubby. Well, actually, I’m a bit of both.)
Nashville, Tennessee is next my sweets! Anyplace where the Jack flows like water and the music ALWAYS plays is just like Nutbrown Heaven.
Okay….back to Canada…..Gotta give the K-dub a little loooovveeeee…it IS home…..
Victoria Park! Good for dogs, kids, skating, walking, talking, duck feeding….and pregancy picture taking.
many of us love Kitchener for the Oktoberfesting……….
Now, we all know it’s not where you are..it’s who you’re with. So wherever these next beautiful creatures are on God’s Green Earth is really “right where I need to be…” *Shout outs to Gary Allan for the great song title*
My besties and I doing our best “Ein Prosit.”
My sweet babies….on a Sunday afternoon.
My gorgeous stepdaughter Ryleigh and her Dadders exploring the cliffs in PEI.
Life is good.
Places yet to be conquered by the Nutbrowns:
Thailand (for the amazing culture, the beautiful people and mostly, the food
Antigua (there’s a beach for every day of the year. That is our kinda place. Paradise!)
Greece (for the food AND the beaches AND the views. We’re big on views.)
Newfoundland (Because we’ve never kissed the cod together)
British Columbia (because people keep telling me it’s as beautiful as my beloved east coast and I find that very hard to believe
Scotland/England/Ireland (to explore castles, our heritage, and Stonehenge….but not for the food…teehee.)
Happy Earth Day! Try to be as good to Her as she’s been to us…….
