A little help to getcher giggle on………

Over the last few years I have drifted away from SNL thinking it’s glory days were over. This weekend the cast and guests proved me wrong again. I think most of us are fans of Tina Fey’s portrayal of Sarah Palin aka…”Caribou Barbie.” (Tee Hee!)  This weekend the host of SNL was Anne Hathaway who is a fantastic actress. I loved her in “The Devil Wears Prada.” She’s awesome. She was awesomer (is that a word?) in this Mary Poppins skit Saturday night.

Baffin Bloggers

September 28th, 2008 by jennifer.campbell

My friend Kimberly and her boyfriend Austin have spent the past few years teaching in Nunavut. I absolutley love their blog and check it almost every day for new Arctic adventures. I suppose it facinates me so because it’s something I can’t ever imagine myself doing. …. braving the cold, the terrain and sometimes even polar bears!! They both have beautiful writing styles and make it so enjoyable to see and read about the wildlife, culture, weather and lives of other Canadians. I feel like I’ve learned so  much from reading their blog and I thought I’d share the link so you can check it out.

Now coffee is making me fat too? The most irritating part of this article is the part about the Starbucks being higher fat and calories than a McDonalds hamburger.

Play-Doh was introduced!

Here’s a link to a  great recipe for home made edible Play-doh:

(I’m walking the dog…..he’s riding his bike.)

Little dude: “Hey lady.”

Me: (Unsure if this is a greeting or a question) “Hi!”

Little dude: “I like your dog. Wanna see how fast I can ride this bike?”

Me: “Thanks, uhhh (not wanting him to fall off the bike or get hurt…then thinking.. he’s 5..how fast can he go?) Sure…..show me what ya got.”

The little dude takes off and returns with a lightbulb over his head….

Little dude: “Hey……will you help me take these training wheels off so I can go even faster?”

Me: “No way Jose.”

Little dude: “My name’s Jack, not Jose. Why?”

Me: “Why what?”

Little dude: “Why won’t you take these baby wheels off my bike?”

Me: “Well, cause I don’t want your mom to get mad at me.”

Little dude: “My mom’s mad at my Grandma AND my Dad right now and neither of them care.”

Me: (trying not to laugh hysterically…..) “Oh I’m sure they care…”

Little dude: “Nope. My Grandma even said….’Nobody cares Susan, nobody cares.’ to my Mom!”

Me: (giggling)

Little Dude: “Okay…. bye lady. Bye doggie.”

Me: ”See ya Jose.”

Best impression ever…..
