Because some of you adorable listener friends have accosted me at the grocery store and demanded it lovingly requested more pictures of my wee little dreamboat…..I happily oblige:
Here’s the blue eyed bathing beauty:
And here he is telling me bathtime sucks:
And here he is all milk drunk and passed out:
Dreamboat. I told you. And right now the wee dreamboat is screaming his face off for boobs politely asking to be fed, so I must go.
Happy Friday Y’all!

Mommy-ing seems to be curing my OCD………..

I looked down at my hoodie today and realized there was baby barf on it but I already had Ayson in his car seat and ready to go to the grocery store so instead of changing it (as I would of done pre-baby if something narsty was on me as I suffer from extreme OCD and would’ve been all crazy to clean! it! NOW!) I simply wiped it off with a baby wipe and went on my merry way. It’s kind of reminiscent of yesterday when on the way to wash my hands after a major poopy diaper I noticed I had some major poopy on my hand and didn’t even flinch. This would have sent me Amy Winehouse crazy pre-baby. Poop? On my hand? THE HORROR!
Also….did you see American Idol when the dude sang the “Pants On the Ground” song that is all the new You-tube rage? At our house we sing that song a lot but have reworked the lyrics to go a little something like this, “Poop in your pants, poop in your pants, smelling really foul with some poop in your pants.”
This is my new life.
And I love it.
This Blog is AWESOME….

Oh…and this:
and finally, these:
We are so in love…and next time, we’ll even let Daddy be in the pictures! (He was at work…..making Mama the money..’cause we all know the Nutbrown Motto, “If Mama ain’t happy…ain’t nobody happy”…..lol)
Of course, all of these incredible images are courtesy of your favourite honourary KIX Chick, Sandy Jamieson. Go to www.zaidababy.com to book a session, order the book and capture your most precious memories, forever.
Okay, now that you’ve been exposed to the adorableness that is Ayson Nutbrown, I’ll go undeck our halls. Happy New Year my darlings! From our home to yours….may you have a million blessings, a zillion laughs and all good things come into your heart in 2010!
I’d like to introduce you….

to Ayson Todd Nutbrown:
He was born December 21st, 2009 at 9:19pm. Six years ago on December 21st….. my mother passed away. What a beautiful gift she sent us to change that sad day into a joyous one. I’ll be forever grateful for her sign from Heaven that she truly is, always watching.
Ayson is a wonderful baby. He loves to eat and only cries when his diaper is off and he’s cold. Fancy that, A December baby, born to 2 beach bums, who hates the cold. Ha!
Thank you all for your love, blessings, and flood of beautiful messages to welcome our boy.
As Sandy mentioned on the KIX Chicks Facebook page, his name means, “his mother’s love, his father’s pride.” Little Ayson is certainly living up to his name.
In our new neighbourhood……

…..we have some serious Christmas Illuminati. Not weird killer ‘Illuminati’ like from that Dan Brown novel turned Tom Hanks movie….’Illuminati’ like people who take their Christmas lights religiously. And what with my pregnant bitchiness hugeness glow and all, it’s a Christmas freakin’ miracle we even got the tree up and cookies baked this year. So when Todd asked about what we should do about outdoor lights…..I suggested something like this:

It’s the thought that counts.

I think I near wore out my father’s Jeanne C. Riley record when I was a kid. I loved the Harper Valley PTA song and still get a rush every time I hear her “sock it to the members of the Harper Valley PTA.”
Here’s a fun montage from the movie (starring Barbara Eden as Mrs. Johnson) based on that great “1st edition girl power” song:

I’d like to hunt up this flick and watch this afternoon…but I’m thinkin’ even if I muster up all the girl power I got…it ain’t gonna override the Saints and the Patriots….;)
Look who’s on Oprah Monday!

Doesn’t it look good?!
I LOVE Christmas music. My favourite hymn and Christmas song is Oh Holy Night. I once had the chance to interview John Berry…. (whatever happened to John Berry? I loved him…..) Anyhoo…the interview was in July and it was 32 degrees and I made him sing his version because it just breaks my heart and makes me cry and feel angels among us…..now I love Martina’s version too. Beautiful.

This Alan Jackson song is my favourite “non-traditional” Christmas song……..the message is perfect and I listen to it over and over every year while I cook the turkey…..until my husband decides 18 times in a row is enough and switches the CD to Elvis or Boney M or something equally enjoyable!

Let it be Christmas…..everywhere……
The following conversation went down in front of our refridgerator last night…………..
November 25th, 2009 by jennifer.campbell
(I had put some leftover cooked bacon in a ziploc baggie after breakfast Sunday morning…..)
Todd: “Is that a baggie of BACON?!?!” (in an elated tone as though he had just discovered a bag of money in the fridge….)
Me: “It is.”
Todd: “It’s like Christmas!!”
Me: “You frighten me with your bacon lust.”
Todd: “Baby, I love you way more than I love bacon.”
Me: “You do not. Liar.”
Todd: “Okay, I love you and bacon equally.”
*It should be noted that my adorable husband then proceeded to create a bologna and bacon sandwich to tide him over while I made ribs. The man loves his pork.
*Another note: Schneider’s bacon is on sale for $1.88 a pound this Saturday only at Central Fresh Market in Kitchener. See ya in the meat department.
