I feel it shouldn't be changed at all and am PROUD to sing/hear that line!! I agree with Mrs. A, Linda and Alli on this one. If the government changes our national anthem, it means that they will change ANYTHING else that is CANADIAN just because there are some groups who are unhappy with it. LEAVE OUR ANTHEM ALONE!! Language is a powerful thing and we often don't stop to think about the misogyny that lies within it.
