Dan is it really your style to scream when a goal is scored, I hear you do it in hockey broadcast, However when I hear you on the fan 590 with updates or anything else it just does not seem like a style that fits the personility.
Great Broadcasters in this market have not resorted to
that kind of emphatic style while announcing a goal, I guess really because I would call it more a U.S thing and after a while it gets annoying sort of like that loud organ that use to sound in Chicago after a goal was scored. I could understan if that was still in tact because that is tradition
Screaming does not seem like it is a trend or tradition with any of the canadian commentators in any of the sports.
Has there been survey’s done to show that fans listen more when the announcement of a goal is by way of a scream.
