Hey Got Gamers,

I’m not here to convert you. Even in the middle of this NHL lockout I’m not going to try and convince you to spend your time playing videogames, racing cars, or both. Videogames, auto racing, and religion all have 1 thing in common: you either understand why it is special or you don’t.

However, you’re not the better man for getting it, and you’re not the devil if you don’t care about those previously mentioned choices.

However, if you know enough about videogame auto racing to understand that a new Codemasters F1 game should make you excited, than get that blood pumping my friends.

F1 2012 is out in stores today!

Veterans of the franchise will know to expect at wide-range of technical and gameplay features that power the single player campaign, as well as competitive and co-operative multiplayer modes. However, after last year’s solid but relatively still-born F1 2011, veterans and rookies alike may be surprised to find out how much has changed in F1 2012.

It would be easy to guess that all the official teams, drivers and tracks will be back for this game. However, did you know that the US Grand Prix from Austin, Texas will be part of this game? How about the return of Germany’s famous Hockenheim track?

I think there will be enough to surprise everyone in this year’s game, but what specifically changed? To figure that out we have cornered the Creative Director of F1 2012, Steven Hood, to ask him what has changed.
