Every once and a while a story pops up and I ask myself what the heck? That’s the reaction I had to the news that the next sports title coming from Majesco is NBA BALLER BEATS (the previous title being Hulk Hogan’s Main Event).

At least Majesco will be the publisher with the developed being HB Studios. According to those two companies, “NBA Baller Beats gets players on their feet mastering mad ball handling skills using a real basketball while playing to the beat of an eclectic soundtrack. The Kinect motion sensor captures every movement of both player and ball to create an entirely new basketball gaming experience.”

So I guess it’s a Kinect beat matching game set to dubstep soundtracks?

Here’s the trailer they sent us to give you a better idea of what they’re planning. It shows absolutely no gameplay, but you do get an idea of what you will be doing infront of your Kinect sensor if you buy this game.

However, the only question that remains in my mind is how long until we see the youtube videos of people losing control of the ball and destroying their $1000 TVs?
