Hey Got Gamers,

For the first time since October 2011, I am happy to announce that the full Got Game crew has been reunited! Zack, Momin, Bryan and Christine are back as a team to bring you this week’s Got Game!

Now it may have been 3 months since we last had a complete crew, but the weekly post-broadcast podcast has always been in the same location. Even Jury Duty Zack or Missing Momin can tell you that you’ll find our January 22nd 2012 show in the audio file below this paragraph.

    Hey Got Game,

    Just wanted to reply to your MLSE app discussion on the show. I paid for the Wild @ Leafs games the other night because the game was on TSN which is the only station I can’t use to watch Leafs games on my laptop (I have rogers on demand for my laptop and can watch all Sportsnet or Leafs TV games; CBC games on Saturday on cbc.ca as well)

    Obviously the game was overpriced but I figured I would try the app out and see what it is like. Basically it seems they’ve just ported the NHL gamecentre feed onto the 360. I’ve never experienced it before but I was not terribly impressed. I was not allowed to watch any of the between period analysis and whoever was controlling the commercial breaks really didn’t want me to see the commercials (instead you get a screensaver type deal with some background noise). It was annoying because whoever was controlling the commercials had an itchy trigger finger and would switch to the screen saver at times even when no commercial break was happening. They obviously became the wiser rather quickly but it was really annoying as I missed analysis during whistles.

    I definitely won’t be purchasing a Leafs game on the app again. Poor price point and poor quality (the “HD” picture quality was inconsistent too).

    I agree 100% the game freed was sloppy and slow. Definitely won’t be going down that path again.

    On a side note welcome back momin!!! We missed you. Well not really but welcome back anyway.

    Thanks for the message, Alex… nice to get some insight into the experience.

    …I have yet to speak with anyone else who has tried out the app, so this is really invaluable at this point.

    Zack,

    Any news on a possible God of War 4? I searched the net and there is inconclusive evidence, mostly speculation based on peoples resumes and such. Since you have inside connections I’d like to ask you.

    Hey Roy,

    I am guessing you are trying to be sarcastic, but just incase you are not I would suggest trying a different browser.

    I tried Firefox and Internet Explore and was able to start the audio file in both successfully.

    Hey Got Game,
    Im a little late on listenin to this weeks podcast,but i just wanted to comment on the great job you guys are doing.Ive listened to the show every week for the past…2 years at least and you guys continue to raise the bar with the information you give the listener,and your reviews(even if i occassionally dont agree with them).As an avid gamer,with over 130 games for my 360,its great to have a show on the air every week,and it be canadian!Keep it up

    Thanks for the responce. Love the show and lissen every Monday morning when I get into work. For some reason I can not access the even see the link from last week. Keep up the great work, would be fantastic if you could have a longer or more frequent show.
