Hey Got Gamers,
Somehow we ended up with an Xbox-centric show this week. Which doesn’t happen to us that often. The cool thing about having 4 different guys, with 4 different backgrounds, and 4 different tastes; is that the show is always… well… different. Luckily though, the podcast’s location is never different. As always you can find this week’s different episode in the audio file below this sentence.

However, the true reason for this week’s Xbox heavy show is industry activity. Every week there is always something going on with the consoles. However, this week seemed to belong to the Xbox360 alone, or at least it was the biggest and brightest star in this week’s gaming sky.
For example, Microsoft released a straight to DVD/Blueray movie about their biggest franchise. Our resident HALO Fanboy, Bryan, went to talk to Chris Lewchuck, Jeff Rivet (shown in the photo blow), and Byron Gaum about HALO Legends.

If you’ve never heard about HALO Legends before, don’t worry. We’re going to go over it in detail during our show. However, just to give you a quick taste, here is a trailer for HALO Legends.
This was also the week of X10. X10, is a yearly Xbox-centric event that Microsoft puts on to showcase some of there upcoming games. We covered X09 last year, but we were unable to go to X10 ourselves. However, we were able to convince, fellow Torontoian and a writer for the Sun Media Chain, Steve Tilley to come on Got Game and talk about everything he saw. However, I think what he didn’t see will surprise you more, but you’ll have to listen to find out what that is.
Plus, Zack reviews the latest installment from one of his favorite franchises: Bioshock.
Also, Momin and Ken can “Go to Hell“™… actually, I wrote that wrong. Sorry, I meant to say that Momin and Ken went to Hell and brought back a review for Dante’s Inferno.
And while we’re talking about Dante’s Inferno, don’t forget to check out the contest section of our site. The FAN590 is giving away a copy of Dante’s Inferno. You can check out the details of this contest here!

…addendum/apology:
Zack here. Sometimes when it comes to reviewing games, the simple time-crunch of trying to cram all of our thoughts into a mere 3 minutes and change can lead to some oversights.
Sadly, as soon as I got home, I realized that I forgot to incorporate one of my favourite parts about Bioshock 2.
As you know, you control a Big Daddy in this trip through Rapture. And since you’re a Big Daddy, you’ve got a pretty big relationship with Little Sisters. One of the most enjoyable, strategic, elements of this game is when that relationship is at it’s thickest.
Whenever you find a corpse appropriate for Adam-extraction, you’ll have to survey your surroundings and lay down the appropriate defenses to hold off the hordes of splicers.
You’ll have to be on the defensive for however long it takes your Little Sister to get as much juice as she needs…
It’s the same principle every time, but with many variables… and you can have a blast (figuratively and literally) working out various combinations of weapons and plasmids to best get the job done.
I also foolishly forgot to mention what can be some epic duels with the Big Sisters (new in Bioshock 2). Although as you progress through the game, said fights get a little easier.
So there’s that.
My score of the game does not change. Bioshock 2 is an outstanding experience.
9.0/10

Agreed. Bioshock 2 was a blast to play. I’m afraid to put the first one back in just because how much the gameplay evolved in the new one….I’m just getting started in the multiplayer now which puts its own unique spin on the MP experience….
- RandyI revisited the original the week before I popped in the sequel, and I can safely say that you’ll probably enjoy the first just as much as you did before.
It’s great how much Bioshock 2 plays into the original, without leaving newcomers in the dark.
Play through the first one again if you’ve got the time… I enjoyed it just as much as I did in ’07.
