Hey Got Gamers!

I’ll normally start off these show blogs with some witty (or half witted) comment about a topic we discussed this week. However, why waste words with repartee, when we could just tell you about this awesome bonus interview? Last Wednesday, our flagship show Prime Time Sports, talked with ESPN’s Mark Fairaru-Wada about Sam Keller suing EA and the NCAA.

Now it is true that the Got Game crew has covered this story a few times before; but since the last time we discussed it, the story has changed a bit.  Therefore, to bring you up to speed, here is Prime Time Sports’ Bob McCown (with Stephen Brunt) discussing the latest EA/NCAA lawsuit news with Mark Fairaru-Wada.

However, that is not the only gaming news this week. We highly suggest that you click on the audio file below this sentence for the latest news filled episode of Got Game!

On this week’s show we’ll continue the sports gaming theme a little with our guest, MLB10: The Show’s cover athlete: Joe Mauer.

On top of that:

  • We’ll tell you how’s your PSP could help you out at sporting events
  • We debate one countries ruling on virtual currency being as good as real money, and the effect that ruling could have on gaming culture
  • Plus we give you our opinions on The White Knight Chronicles and Hustle Kings with our reviews

That and much more on this edition of Got Game!

And while we’re speaking about that “more” part, I have something extra for all you gaming parents out there. Simply put, children love to copy the behavior of adults; so when kids see you gaming, they want to play too. However, many games are really unsafe or are too complicated for toddlers. So what do you do in that situation? I am not a parent; so I have no right to tell you. However, maybe I can point you in the direction of two guys who made this website. They may have something for you, so check out this interview that I  did with them for more details.
