Saints Address Secondary with Jenkins
14. Malcolm Jenkins - CB - Ohio State
No surprise here at the Saints needed a player in the secondary. In Jenkins, the Saints get a corner with great speed to chase down receivers. He has excellent coverage skills with the only knock being his inability to make the big play to create a turnover. He has the tendency at times to drop balls that he should catch. But for a rookie, that skill can develop over time and as long as he is doing his job down field in coverage and not letting the receivers advance, it bodes well for his career.
