This morning we talked to North Bay Fire Chief Grant Love about the current fire ban in North Bay.  The chief also filled us in on what the penalties are for disobeying the fire ban as well as what it will take to lift the ban.

In the summer of 2011, 19-year old Amber Booth died in a motor vehicle accident.  Amber worked at Restoule Park for three years and truly loved the outdoors, so it was a very special honour when a lake in the park was named for Amber last weekend.  This week we talked to Amber’s Dad Ted about his late daughter, last weekend’s ceremony, and the Forget Us Not Ride coming up on Saturday, June 2nd.
