It’s always nice to honour good work, and here at The Fox we are big on giving kudos to those in our community who make a difference.
Carri Johnson of the Rotary Club of North Bay-Nipissing was in studio today to tell us about the Building a Strong Foundation program, which recognizes youth who do exceptional things in our community.
If you know someone under the age of 30 who is involved in making a difference at a local or international level, you can send your nomination to Carri at carri.johnson@cogeco.ca or call her at 705-498-9297. The deadline for entries is October 20th. The winner will be honoured at the Foundation dinner on Thursday, November 17th.
