Four kids took to the streets to shoot a video during Hurricane Irene.  Some people will do anything for their 15 minutes of fame.  What do you think? Funny or dumb?

This morning Mitch and I had the chance to talk with Ewan Currie, lead singer of the Sheepdogs.  They have gained a ton of fame as the winners of the “choose the cover contest” to become the first unsigned band to be featured on the cover of the Rolling Stone.  Don’t be fooled though, these guys have been out on the road for a while…take a listen.

With the brand new Steve Omischl Sports Complex opening this past weekend, we though it would be cool to keep track of the first goals scored on the new artificial turf. These youngsters will be able to look back and appreciate that they were a part of history in the making.
The first goal scored on artificial turf field “B” was scored by Dominique Godin 3 minutes into the game.
The first goal scored on artificial turf field “C-1″ was scored by Tianna Maisonneuve at the 31 minute mark.
The first goal scored on artificial turf field “C-2″ was scored by Sam Laforge 6 minutes into the game.

Alice Cooper has released a new single called “I’ll Bite Your Face Off”.  It’s the lead track from his new album “Welcome 2 My Nightmare”, the sequel to his classic 1975 album.  The new disc will be released September 13th and features guest appearances from Kip Winger and members of Buckcherry and Rob Zombie’s band.

Lexi LaFleur from our Fox Street Team has made it big! She was picked to be featured in a Caramilk “find the key to the secret contest” commercial. Take a look!

This picture caught my eye on Facebook this morning.  Apparently it comes from somewhere in Northern Ontario.  It kind of reminded me of a couple of famous campfire scenes.  The first is from the hilarious movie “Blazing Saddles”.  The second is a clip from “Beavis and Butthead”.

I feel so sorry for this poor women.  It’s cold, it’s windy and her nose is runny.

I’ve always thought the panel of judges on America’s Got Talent was an odd pairing.  You have the very funny and quarky Howie Mandel, Sharon Osbourne who is sweet and honest, and then there is Piers Morgan the no nonsense judge.  Ever wonder what they’re like when the camera stops rolling…does their dynamic change?  It sure does! It gets crazy!  Naked breasts and a video camera kind of crazy!
