I have to admit that I’m not a big fan of parallel parking.  In fact, I would rather drive further down the street or around the block to find an easier spot to park.  Mitch and I were talking about things we wished that our cars could do on their own.  Mitch thought a car that could fly would be great, and of course I said a car that could park itself would be terrific.  Guess what?  There are already cars that can parallel park themselves!  I had some listeners let me know that Ford and Lexus both make vehicles with this capability. Let’s be honest though, the Lexus is a little out of my price range…ok a lot!  Check it out, it’s kind of cool.

So it’s been awhile since I saw a funny episode of Saturday Night Live…remember back when Mike Myers and Jim Carey were on the Show?  It was always good for a laugh!

I thought I would give it a try again when I noticed that Justin Timberlake was hosting…I know what you’re thinking…seriously?

City fire crews called to scrapyard fire before 4:30 Thursday morning off Industrial Road; along with the thick smoke there was an acrid smell wafting in the overpass area.

Switzerland’s Yves Rossy, also known as Jetman, claims he recently flew over a portion of the Grand Canyon.  Check out this video.

Guess who’s coming back?  The Trailer Park Boys return to the North Bay Capitol Centre on November 29th.  This time, Ricky, Bubbles and Julian will be joined by Randy and Mr. Lahey for a new show called “Dear Santa Claus, Go *%$# Yourself”.  Fox Rockstars can get to the front of the line to buy tickets before they go on sale Friday.  The Rockstar pre-sale happens Thursday from 11am until 4pm.  Get your pre-sale password and visit the Capitol Centre box office to buy tickets or charge by phone at 705-474-4747.  The Boys are back in town and it’s gonna be a helluva good time!
