Widdifield Secondary School students will team up with the Young Americans this Saturday night for a show at the school.  North Bay students will be part of some workshops on Thursday and Friday before teaming up with the performers from California for a performance on Saturday night at 7:00opm at Widdifield.  You can find out more about the Young Americans at www.youngamericans.org

North Bay’s Brian Guy left this morning for Argentina, flying out of the Bay to Buenos Aires film the upcoming season of Wipeout Canada.  Brian played linebacker for the West Ferris Trojans so he knows a thing or two about intensity.  He’s been training hard to represent North Bay in the competition.  The show will air in the Spring and you can keep track of Brian on his Facebook group at the link below.

Mitch and Vicki took their next challenge to Ares Kick Boxing recently.  After defeat in the Pole Dancing challenge, Vicki was out for revenge!

I had the chance to head to the pumpkin patch in Sturgeon Falls today with my daughters’ school.  What a difference a year makes!  This time last year the weather was terrible, a snow rain mix last year made it quite difficult to enjoy the experience.  This time around the kids had the chance to do it all!  From touring the corn maze, roasting marshmallows to decorating pumpkins (and who can forget the cookies and coco), the kids all had a terrific time. 

I can see why so many families in the area make the pumpkin patch a seasonal tradition.  It was wonderful to see the look on their small faces as they watched the baby pigs and debated over which pumpkin would be the best to decorate.  What a great time!
