Brandon Flowers of the Killers has released his debut solo single, “Crossfire”. I like the song. Some will say it’s derivative of many of his influences, mostly U2, but that’s what he does. It’s no secret. The video is interesting. I have read message boards calling it cheesy, but any video with a very hot Charlize Theron kicking ninja ass is alright with me.

I heard you talking about the video this morning, so I watched it, and figured it couldn’t lose with Charlize in it. Awesome tune, Charlize is incredible as usual,BUT the fight scenes ARE “cheezy” because the video needs a director; it would have saved it. Sorry for the negativity. Good song though.

I wouldn’t disagree that the fight scenes are somewhat weak. The choreography could definitely have been more realistic.
