I was flipping through the channels and came across a game unlike any I have witnessed before.  Two men battling it out on the tennis court at Wimbledon, a game that will go down in history as the longest tennis match.  John Isner of the US beat out Nicolas Mahut…eventually.  The battle lasted 11 hours and ended in the fifth set with a 70-68 score.

Can you imagine the stamina you would need for a game like that?  Unbelievable.

If you’ve watched any of the World Cup Soccer games, you may have noticed the same type of thing; these players run the entire length of the field over and over, while I can’t imagine having to walk once down the field.  What a sport!
