Deputy chief of the Timmins Fire department, Joey Stojkiewicz has passed away at the age of 53 due to complications with leukemia.
Fire chief Mike Pintar says he will remember Joey as a very selfless and devoted person, two traits that were illustrated in his decision to become a volunteer fireman at the age of 18.
