Kelly and Mark and All their Children

Kelly Ripa and husband Mark Consuelos are returning to their alma mater, All My Children, for the daytime soap opera’s 40th anniversary show. ABC announced that the couple will appear on the show in episodes that are scheduled to air on January 4th and January 5th. It will be the first time the two have appeared on the show since leaving in 2002.
The Guiding Light goes out

The final episode of “The Guiding Light” airs today on C-B-S.
The network canceled the soap after 72 years.
It started on radio in 1937 and moved to T-V in 1952.
