It isn’t enough that Miley Cyrus has removed Twitter from her own life — she thinks it “should just be, like, banned from this universe.” In an interview last week, the one-time Twitter-fanatic explained, “Because people, like, honestly, like, I mean people wanna know why, like, you’re, like, unhealthy, and, like, you need, like, get out and do stuff and, like, be in the world instead of being like this (pretends to be hunched over a keyboard) all the time. And, like, all I did was, like, lay in bed all the time.”

She added, “I”m not really a big fan of the Internet any more. I don’t really get online.”

Tweens and teens have voted Miley Cyrus the worst celebrity influence of 2009. 42 percent of respondents to a poll for AOL’s JSYK.com (Just So You Know) think the singer falls below even Kanye West and Britney Spears when it comes to being a good example for the younger generation.

The results didn’t specify which of the 16-year-old’s behaviors made her such a bad influence, but in the past year she has dated a 20-year-old model, been accused of pole-dancing on-stage, and making “slant eyes” in an informal snapshot.

In a separate poll on the website, Miley was voted number four in the favorite female artist category. Taylor Swift, Katy Perry and Beyonce came in ahead of her.

Penelope Cruz will make a cameo in the upcoming Sex and the City movie sequel. PerezHilton.com reported that the actress filmed a scene on Tuesday, in which she plays herself on the red carpet. It’s also been reported that Miley Cyrus will appear and that Liza Minelli makes a cameo at the rumored wedding of characters Stanford and Anthony.

The Taylor Swift bullet train continues.

She has more American Music Award nominations than any other singer.

She’s up for Favorite Female Artist in any genre and in country music, Favorite Album in any genre and in country music, Favorite Adult Contemporary Artist and Artist of the Year.

She’s up against Michael Jackson in two of those categories.

And here we go again? She’s up against Beyonce for favourite female artist. Someone please tell me Kanye is banned from the building.

Meantime, Miley Cyrus is up against herself and vampires at the American Music Awards.

It’s in the soundtrack category.

The soundtrack for the “Hannah Montana” movie is nominated.

And, so is the soundtrack for the “Hannah Montana” T-V show.

Their competition is the “Twilight” soundtrack.

The awards will be handed out November 22nd.

Sources say that the Hannah Montana star will have a role in Sex And The City 2. In one scene, Kim Catrell’s Samantha character is spotted wearing the same dress as Cyrus to a red carpet event. In the script, Mario Cantone’s character Anthony responds by saying, “Mother of God: She is wearing the same dress as Hannah Montana.” There’s no word on if Miley will have a speaking part.

Call Miley Cyrus a diva and she’ll take it as a compliment.

To her a diva isn’t someone who’s “bratty and very high maintenance.”

Instead, it’s someone who’s “larger than life.”

And, maybe this is her wishful thinking, but she says with a diva “you don’t care about their personal life” because it’s all about their performance.

Cyrus is one of the new group of singers deemed divas by V-H-1.
