Health care in the province of Ontario continues to see changes.
That was the topic of the latest virtual coffee break hosted this morning by the Northeast Local Health Integration Network.
Also joining the conversation by phone from Toronto was the provincial Minister of Health Deb Matthews.
The CEO of the local LHIN, Louise Paquette says after talking with northerners over the last 18 months, they have come up with a list of four priorities…Primary Care, Transition of Care, a less fragmented system and making programs and services more accessible.
Dr. Jo-Anne Clarke, the head Geriatrician for the northeast says one area that needs to be addressed is the way health care for our seniors is delivered.
