Antique cars, trucks and motorcycles will be coming to Sudbury on June 24th.
The Great Race will be rolling through Greater Sudbury as part of their 19 city, 2 country 8 day race.
The race features antique vintage cars, trucks and motorcycles with body and drive train built in 1969 or earlier.
The race isn’t considered a ‘speed’ race, but more of a detailed checkpoint race against the clock type race.
Each racer is given a specific set of instructions on how to drive the current leg of the race.
After the leg is completed, their time is compared to the default time.
The Sudbury leg of the race is considered an overnight stop with racers beginning to arrive at the A&W in the South End just after 4pm.
