Attempted murder and arson charges charges laid in connection with a fire in Espanola’s downtown.
On March 19th fire crews responded to a blaze on Tudhope Street that destroyed three businesses and several apartments.
One man was sent to hospital with burns to his body.
The Fire Marshall was brought in and determined the fire was suspicious in nature.
That launched an extensive criminal investigation that resulted in the arrest of three people.
30-year old Craig Hunda of Sudbury and 23-year old Jordan Leggat are facing attempted murder, arson and theft charges while 44-year old David MacIsaac of Sudbury will answer to 4 arson related charges.
