The Sault PUC reports a power outage that happened overnight. The interruption happened just before 1:00 a.m. and the utility reports it was caused by equipment failure, resulting in a pole fire. Most of the 12 hundred affected customers in an area including parts of Goulais Avenue west of Korah Road and Second Line West south to the Bonney Street had their power restored in a little over an hour.
