City fire crews were called to a home in the 300 block of Patrick Street around 7:00 last night after a stove had been turned on – with a plastic container left unknowingly inside it – causing all kinds of thick black smoke. Crews were there for about an hour, venting the place – some restortation work will likely be necessary. There were no injuries and any damage was contained to the stove. Otherwise, with spring cleanup underway for some – so too are the number of burning complaints.
