Katimavik is having a welcome party and open house next week. The youth volunteer service program will host the event at its Leo Avenue residence from 5 until 9 on March 24th. The event will include presentations about Katamavik and seven volunteers visiting the Sault from across Canada. The group have their work placements at a number of agencies including the United Way, Community Living Algoma and the YMCA. In the meantime, Katimavik is also looking for families interested in sharing their homes to volunteers, starting April 23rd. Call 254-4202 for more information.
