On Tuesday afternoon…my broadcast partner, Paul Jones, was on the air back in Toronto with Tim and Sid on Sportsnet 590 the FAN.

Sid Seixeiro “guaranteed” a Raptors win over the Phoenix Suns — something Toronto hadn’t done in 14 tries (over 7+ years – dating back to 2004).

Seixeiro even went so far as to say that IF the Raps did prevail over Nash and Co. … he would break out some sort of victory/touchdown dance in-studio for Tim Micallef and allow for it to be recorded and posted on the web as well.

Jonesy and I mentioned this guarantee – and the promise to DANCE – during the 4th quarter of our broadcast from the desert last night ….. and as you know by know ….. the Raptors knocked off the Suns, 99-96.

So … Dance Sid, Dance:

Good on ya Sid.  You’re a good sport – and a man of your word!

Now who do ya got tonight?  Raptors or Jazz (with a Utah team that has been resting since Saturday & a Toronto club on a back to back)?
