Eric,
I hear Bosh didn’t acknowledge the crowd when they gave him a standing ovation. Do you read into that? Also, he also showed absolutely no emotion when he nailed the game winner. His body language has just been off lately and true leaders don’t do that. Leaders don’t get down when their team is down. They help to bring them back up and Bosh’s attitude of late, in the media anyways, is the complete opposite of a leader I think. What do you think?
- MikeAnother thing, and this goes out to the Toronto fans. Please stop booing your team when they’re down. I don’t care if you throw the ‘we pay money for our tickets and expect hard work’ excuse. If you’re a true fan you cheer your team on through the ups and downs. A great example are the fans in Golden State. Their team is horrific but get backed by an awesome crowd all the time. Players feed off the crowds energy. I’ve seen Raptor fans boo when they were down by as few points as 4, and cheer loudest when free pizza is announced, that’s brutal! Cheer this team on down the stretch people!
- MikeMike
you complain about fans booing a team that was getting killed in the 3rd quarter (again) and a team that was shooting jump shots while getting beat the fans were booing the jump shots and the fans were right!
that just shows that the fans actually know whats going on and were not pleased with it after that the raps started playing more aggressive and pulled out a win.
Also about your comments about Chris Bosh …I dont get what you guys want from this guy ..he is one of the best of not the best power forward in the game today ..he also is a all star year in and year out …his numbers have increased every year he has been in the league…he is this franchises leader in every major statistical category …this current team would be no where without him as we saw when he got injured….so what if he didnt show any emotion when he reached 10,000 or hit the game winning shot ! ….its people like you and media that will drive this guy out of the city, I can care less about his emotions, all that matters is that he wanted the ball with the game on the line and took the shot and got the win and if he continues to have ablank look on his face and we win so be it !
People in this city get ot caught up in the Rah Rah Rah blah blah blah…Chris Bosh is the leader of this team and every single guy in that locker room knows it…every player in this league is not going to be gritty and emotional like Wendal Clark or Dougie Gilmour…get over it!
GO Raps GO!
- NeilMike, he nailed a game winner!!! and no emotion? their was still time for the Hawks to win it! so, that’s why he didn’t celabrate that fast!
Great win for the Raptors! and DeMar really showed some good signs in the game and I hope he gets better and who knows he might get more time in the cluch!
- Raps FanI wouldn’t read into Bosh not acknoowleging the crowd to much, he was probably too focused and angry.
Individual achievments are one thing, but if they don’t translate into a win, it means nothing.
Awesome game, great win, keep it up.
- T.J.Kobe didn’t show emotion when he hit the dagger against Raptors to end a 3 game losing streak. Can we read anything into it? No!
Bosh is implying that this team should be closer to Atlanta’s record than Chicago’s record.
And yes, fans that boo, esp. in the 1st quarter suck! Give an angry cheer instead
- SidWhen turk plays well the raps win. It figures we are at 500 cause he only plays well 50 percent of the time
- jose haterI think Bosh could have taken half-a-second to at least wave to the crowd or hold up one finger … but I’m not losing sleep over it and I certainly don’t think it was some sort of ‘sign’ RE: he’s leaving town or turning his nose up at Toronto.
- Eric Smithnone of you actually think Bosh is sticking around, do you?
a solid win despite Hedo’s best efforts in the clutch. finally a lightbulb turns on in Triano’s head as he goes with Bosh for the game winner. Amir needs to see more time down the stretch, in place of Turk. I don’t recognize the need to have five scoring options? Four is plenty.
I really like what Triano did with the lineup down the stretch tonight, minus going to Turk late. caldy and demar/sonny is a better combo than caldy and jack from a defensive perspective at least and possibly offensively as well.
- JamieNow we just have to figure out how to get the Raptors to play like this every game. Even an average Bosh game and we win this walking away.
Bargnani driving the lane, blocking and FIGHTING for rebounds early in the game.
Turk diving on the floor after loose balls and giving it to the refs like he actually cares.
Demar driving with abandon, risking life and limb.
And Bosh showed great emotion, weren’t you guys watching him on the bench, after they WON, not with 2 seconds and an ATL shot left to go?
PS
How can the Raptor nailbiter win not be in the top 7 stories on the Fan homepage???
OKC and another huge test coming
- GaryEric I would’ve preferred that he had waved, getting the finger, not so much…lol
- Mr.CuriousNeil, do yourself a favour and run a spell check the next time you post something.
