I know this was posted really late for you guys but Jonesy, that’s all you’ve got?

“The lack of effort defensively is perplexing.”

19 games left to pull it together.

Just print what I posted yesterday…..and the day before.

    Hey Eric,

What’s the biggest problem here, player personnel or the coaching staff… In my opinion the coaching staff is the problem because I think the talent and depth they have to work with is great, although it doesn’t matter much but I have no confidence in the coaching staff

Is it just me or does Stephen Curry look like the mutant child of Steve Nash and Allen Iverson?

I saw that Bosh had 6 turn overs in the game. Is that because teammates are not being vocal and letting Chris know about surrounding players or does he have hands of stone?

Talent and depth are almost entirely useless in the NBA.

    Well, I’m exaggerating a bit ;)

But, not only is this team’s talent marginal (Bosh is the only above average player in terms of talent), it’s horrific effort level on nearly every night is what will, ultimately, define it’s season (yes, yet again…).

Finally, depth is useless if it’s just more of the same old stuff you get from your starters. Just another group of listless, terribly inconsistent players.

These guys know how to play the game. I believe coaching is highly overrated in pro sports. This team sorely lacks true leadership (ie. a Tim Duncan/Kevin Garnett type) and is unbelievably LAZY.

As an aside — Jay Triano seems completely clueless as a coach…in terms of body language and the majority of his media quotes. But, that’s secondary to this team’s terrible chemistry and lack of effort.

And the General Manager is, ultimately, responsible for these problems.

As a season seat holder, I genuinely hope this team misses the playoffs yet again, and Bryan Colangelo is – finally – turfed out of here.

He has done nothing but make a mockery of this team. I’ve never seen a manager play darts like he does — signs/trades for a million players, throws them up against the wall, and hope they’ll stick.

Most of the guys on this board could perform as well as Colangelo. Give them a “capologist” to work with, and they’d do no worse than this overpaid pantload of an executive.

Tonight’s loss against Portland will be one of the franchise worst.
