Monday December 14 2009 – 3:00pm Eastern – Miami, FL

We’re keeping in short but sweet in today’s VLOG.

I hate to rub it in … but it’s 85 degrees in Miami today … so it’s more time in the sun and less time on the VLOG!

Enjoy.

We’ll try to tape the VLOG outside tomorrow – on game-day.  It was too windy to do so today.

Have a good one folks.  Stay warm.

So funny — “What is 85 degrees in Canada?”

    The answer: A summer day!

Where do some of you guys come up with these questions? And, what do you study in school? In fact, do you even bother to show up?

I find this question to be nothing short of incredulous…with all due respect, of course!

Eric – I suppose a better response would have been to convert at the USD to CDN$ rate.

So, at an exchange rate of 1.075:

85 degrees would be approximately 91 degrees in Canada!

how the heck does ariza get away with a ONE game suspension!!!!!! That is crap! Stu Jackson should have suspended him as if he made contact. At least 3-5 games plus a fine. Cram the heat of the moment stuff. Time to grow up and as the great Canadian comedian Russel `Peters says – `BE A MAN`! Do the right thing!

“I find this question to be nothing short of incredulous…with all due respect, of course!”

brento, the question cannot be incredulous unto itself as you cannot ascribe human emotion to an object.

You really should be more careful when you question someone’s education level.

Did you think maybe he was very young (post metric age) and doesn’t easily convert??? Ask a 16 year old how fast 90 km/h is in mph?

With all due respect, of course.

    Let’s go Raps.

    An apologist, Gary?

We need far fewer of your type and far more with higher expectations from today’s youth.

The current levels of arithmetic and grammar, among several others, being demonstrated by high school students is beyond alarming.

When I was 16 years old, I would have had a very good idea of how to convert km/h into m/h. But, forget that! Today – there are so many more resources available to students!!

All a 16 year old needs to do is what Eric did – push a handful of keys on the ol’ computer keyboard, find an online converter – and, BOOM! There’s your answer, little Johnny :)

But, no…you’d rather spoonfeed these kids and give them additional excuses as to why it’s okay to have no clue how to resolve even the simplest of tasks.

Try speaking to a current school teacher (better yet, a COLLEGE or UNIVERSITY professor!!) and find out just how critical things are right now. It’s appalling.

    Sorry, Raps Fan No More!

All this losing is becoming extremely frustrating!

I wish I could just look away, but it’s really tough. I’ve supported this team for over a decade, but I think I’m at my breaking point.

Perhaps I should become a really big curling fan. Buy season seats, get a jersey or two…maybe even join a league!

This Raptors team/management is killin’ me!
