Toronto supplied to clear examples of halves to watch for the rest of the year in terms of what we need defensively; 1st half never again. 2nd half, just do that every night.
It’s amazing to see anyone from BC to Jay Triano to Chris Bosh all saying that their d system requires only the desire to execute and effort.
So if we see more lazy-azz first halves like we saw last night, all agree that it’s just lack of desire and effort…kinda makes you want to work on d a little more.
When you see guys like Kevin Garnett play d, they always seemed ticked off that you have THEIR ball and are very agressive with the hands and play right up on you, limiting your options.
Eric, playing against Shaq or Dwight Howard is one thing, but why do the Raps with so many 7 footers in the front court have rebounding deficiencies against EVERY team??? I think it’s more that Bargs and Hedo etc are tall but not athletic enough to know WHEN to jump and get no hang time rebounding.
Anyway, a great come from behind win and hopefully the lessons learned will prove even more important as we head on the road.
- GaryYo Eric
- john ArtisOle Jose it was great too see our guards doing the penatration It is a whole different offence when we are aggressive.
Raptorized John
