Alright, MOVEMBER started today.
For those that don’t know, MOVEMBER is run to raise awareness for prostate cancer. Basically, guys grow a moustache for the month of November … raising money for charity through donations from friends and family.
Technically, you’re supposed to start November with a clean-shaven face, but I’ll be honest … This was a late invite for me to POSSIBLY join the moustache movement … so I’m not going to shave my beard off completely. Not after 10+ years.
So I have one rule — that twists the unofficial rules of MOVEMBER …
For me to join MOVEMBER: I won’t shave my beard off completely. I will, however, shave it down to a moustache (not even a goatee — a legit MOUSTACHE only) and grow the ‘stache only for one month. Then, when December 1st rolls around, I will start re-growing the beard.
Is that acceptable? Would folks still donate?

- ChrisEric, shaving down to just a mo looks worse than anything -old school in a bad way.
If not going clean, leave a soul patch or a little chin bristle “sans ‘stache” cause thems the rules.
