Nobody had better coverage of Media Day today than the Fan 590. We were all over it this afternoon!
In spite of some sort of “glitch” with Jonesy’s chat with Hedo Turkoglu, we had 11 of the 15 Raptors’ players join us on the show … as well as President and General Manager, Bryan Colangelo.

Jack and I have a show on the FAN 590 every day. While it’s not entirely focused on basketball, we do talk a lot of ball.
Also, HOOPS airs every week for 2 hours.
Plus the FAN carries all 82 Raptors games … including pre-half-post game shows for almost every broadcast.
There’s always more to do … and there’s no doubt that hockey is king … so folks will always want more ball … but it’s not that bad and it’s certainly not “disrespect”

- Eric SmithHey Raps Fan…every single year, Chris Bosh and his supporters talk about how hard he worked on his physique during the offseason. And, every single year, he winds up playing almost exactly the same as the year before…when he isn’t injured or playing hurt.
While a strong physique certainly helps make a player LOOK tougher, it really does little to enhance a player’s game.
Steve Nash is one of the toughest players I have ever seen…but, it all starts between his ears. His mind is tough as nails.
And, while I have very little respect for Allen Iverson and his whiny attitude, he certainly has made the most of his tiny frame, often playing injured and/or returning from injuries ahead of schedule.
Chris Bosh is like the heavyweight fighter with all the tools, but a glass chin. Don’t expect him to get much better, even if he puts on a few pounds or so.
