Thumbs Up:
- The 4th QRT comeback for the Raptors - not quitting - and sending this one to overtime.

Thumbs Down:
- The 9-0 Toronto coughed-up to Detroit to start the overtime … which essentially iced the game.

Smith says:
- “Entertaining game - and a solid effort from the Raps in their comeback attempt.  But too little too late, and Toronto has now dropped 7 in a row and sit 20 games below .500.  Ouch.”

Jones says:
- “Better effort tonight, but the Raps still need to work on the D.  I know there are no moral victories, but at least they competed tonight.”

“V-Tech” 3-In-To-Win Give-Away:
The Raptors were 2 of 8 from 3PT range

    Eric,
Almost spilled my “Stella” when Jose scored, tough loss, is this something they can build on for Sunday or she ilwe anticipate an emotional let down on Sunday.

Raptors are on a seven game losing streak and basically have floundered all season. Does it not at least make a little sense to not start the least effective player in the starting line up. Of corse I am referring to Jose. Sure he played okay against Detroit but they still lost. The last really good win they had was against San Antonio and it was Roko Ukik who led the way. Under those circumstances how could you not at least experiment with Ukik in the starting line up.

Time to move on. Because the Pacers are gonna give it everything they got knowing that they too are in a position for a playoff push!!

There’s a good chance Raps do well over next 16 games .. It’s a fairly weak schedule .
But thinking about next season, who do you think might make a good Rap’s coach ?

We need a coach with some stature that might attracta few good free agents .

You think Avery Johnson might be a good choice ?

    JOSE! JOSE JOSE JOSE!

sorry but I am a calderon fan and it was nice to see him actually PLAYING again…i would never argue when someone is playing horribly…and it was nice to see him back in action.

Anyone else notice how the team steps up the effort whne a starter is out? Great effort and suspenseful game from the Raps…as was said, I know there are no moral wins but high5 guys

Chas…I will be glad to answer your question. Avery Johnson won a championship with the Spurs as a player. As a coach my cousin says that he is a “strudel” if you know what I mean. I don’t wanna be rude saying the other word but let’s just put it this way. He is the type of guy who will get in his players face until they get it right. And he could be a guy to bring the ruthless aggression out of the Raptors. Andrea…Jose is a good guard no doubt. But he is a much better back-up guard than a starter and he did not have any proper back-up that Colangelo & Gherardini ambushed him.

Jose would start on most nba teams. The teams problem is weak rebounding. Whoever thinks Jose should not start or even be a starter in the nba should give there head a shake. The point is fine and improving so let it go. Three or four more rebounds a game would be cool though.
