LL Mago sometimes he’s there sometimes he disappears LOL Everybody thought this guy was breaking out! Doesnt everybody know that shooters are streaky!

That being said this team is filled with soft, inefficient shooters and this 7 foot Kapono definitely has to go… TRADE HIM!!

Wow, the Leafs and Raptors are similar because they both have bad records and the difference is that the leafs know they are a rebuilding team but, Raptors still does not they are a rebuilding team until NOW!!!!!!!

Eric the Raptors should trade know one unless if you get a guy who is a shooting guard that is worth $20 million

I have been a Toronto Raptors season seat holder for 9 seasons. However, I believe my run is now officially over.

It’s not the losing. It’s not the injuries. It’s not the tickets prices.

It’s feeling entirely ignored by management/ownership, particularly Bryan Colangelo, that has led me to this decision. His lack of availability to the shareholders, and seeming disinterest in publicly addressing his team and it’s miserable performance, have left me with a surprisingly easy decision.

He should be ashamed of himself. He has behaved like a coward, and shown very little professionalism this season. He is the sole liaison between management and the team
s fans, and he has entirely shirked his responsibilities.

    Andre,
I don’t think Andrea is disapearing, he just needs more time to develop. He is breaking out and is playing much better defense so I have no idea why you’d want to trade him. You don’t want to be the Leafs and trade away young talent to get old guys.

Whats so Funny is that this Team is so Garbage it’s not even funny anymore. Something even more funnier is that Colangelo was on the FAN590 SHOW today and said i quote ” AS CRAZY A I MAY SOUND I STILL BELIEVE WITH THE PLAYERS WE HAVE, THAT WE STILL HAVE A GOOD TEAM” besides what the standings suggest. WOW, i never questioned Colangelo since he’s been here but WOW, is he sure he Hired the psycology therapist for the Team or for his own personal issues. Well that’s it for me for now, see u trade Deadline, this team has sucked all the LIFE out of me. The highlight of this season is TSN2, i want to Give a SHOUT OUT 2 TSN2 for saving me from watching 24games of this team taking a BEATING….

you know why this team suck. The JO trade was an extremely bad move because now you have three guys who can score in the front court. a problem of riches. Toronto’s most imminent problem is the backcourt where you virtually have no scoring, AP is getting old, all the other guys are like bench warmers. He should’ve trade TJ for some backcourt player rather than a front court former all-star.

70 points against a team like Memphis?..Seriously? Wow! I thought I had seen the lowest of the lows but I was wrong. What a gutless performance! Jay Triano is the worst coach I’ve ever seen and it’s not even close. His so-called “SYSTEM” has just stunk. Forget the playoffs and start trading all the garbage on the team one by one. I am done with this team for this year. See ya guys in spring training.

    hey eric;

Abysmal shooting, and agreed with you about going for the deuce, not the triple as you and jonsey pointed out on the telecast, just wondering why solomen and jawai are not seeing the floor? Will solomen has a decent shot too, could have helped them in the game as AP didn’t have a good game, thx for the blog.

This may be one of the lowest points in this franchise and it’s history.

Forget Ricky Rubio we already have Roko and if I was BC don’t trade JO because their is no point unless if you get D.Wade, Lebron, or Kobe Bryant. (like that’s ever going to happen!)

i think watching raptors has been more stressful than school, which shows how bad the raptors have gotten.

like everyone else here, it is truly very disturbing (i think thats a good word to describe it) watching raptor games this season.

to be honest, id rather have us have an 8th seed in the playoffs than tanking the season. who the hell is in this draft thats worth drafting? jason harden of Arizona State? when i first saw the kid play, he looked like an OK player (late lottery at best) but what is he projected? top 3?!?!

Raps are still not out of the playoff hunt ..
We have a 8-2, or 7-3 streak and we’re back in the race .
One disappointing aspect was the cold shooting by most of the team . We are rarely that bad .
Colangelo’s interview on the FAN was a bit puzzling , but he has to keep up an optimistic pose.
You can’t expect him to say he now knows firing Sam was a huge blunder and Triano has been a major disappointment .

Fans, in a strange sort of way, this year’s performance could be a good thing. For the first time in 3 years, we’re probably seeing the reality of this team. We get so much sunshine blown up our backsides from Raptor management, that I think we have an unreal sense of how good this team is. Maybe we could get a true assessment from Stephen A.. We won’t like what he has to say or how he says it, but most of his comments reguarding this franchise have been bang-on. Does anyone out there truly believe that Chris is HAPPY with the team’s progress, or that there’s not a small part of him that would NOT want to play back in the states? Get real! Bryan will be getting calls from legitimate contenders looking for the final pieces for a playoff run. I’d be willing to unload all but Chris, Andrea, and Joey. Chris is a keeper (although he can’t carry a team on his own), Andrea’s a unique talent(and not costing us a lot) and Joey is showing some real potential(and not costing us a lot). I’d keep Jose, but I’d get him some help; also, if Steve Nash was sincere in his comments about playing in Canada, I’d be all over that…sure, he’s past his prime, but in a 50/50 role with Jose? HMMMM… Clear some cap and blow the bank on another big name player(it’s the NBA way). Then, let’s have Maurissimo (sorry if I mis-spelled his name, Eric) EARN some of his big salary and lavish travel expenses by rounding out the roster with effective role players. This lousy year should show Bryan the direction he needs to go, and we should all hope that he truly does not believe his own overly optimistic words.

They should trade O’neal, moon to LA for Odom, Mihn and Ariza. all expiring contract. you hava a chance to sign some on good in the off-season.

Brento….it’s actually Richard Peddie if you come to think of it. Like…that guy has all that money and would never be serious on putting those money towards making us a playoff/championship team

Oh…if we get a good draft pick spot, make sure these are real aggressive talent coming from the NCAA and not no european league stuff. And another thing. Let the players via coach get their say in this. Oh yeah. GET RID OF THESE SCOUTS WE HAVE TOO!!!
