    Hey Eric,

Great Blog! I am certain that by the trade deadline, one of the wings, either Moon, Parker or Kapano will be moved. With the recent emergence of Bargs, is it likely that J.O. is being shopped?

OJ … thanks, glad you’re liking the vlogs.

As long as JO isn’t healthy … I’m guessing he’s not being shopped.

    Hey Eric,
You were missing your “King Eric” Throne! Great stuff as usual. I think you guys should have a “Sopranos” version of the Vlog with you guys decked out in your “Arena clothes” Great job, Thanks for letting me know on P.Pierce. Hopefully Ray Allen will be really delayed by bad weather on his way to the Arena tonight! Thanks

    Eric:

I am fed up hearing about Jose Calderone’s ability to take care of the ball.

Bottom line: He does not turn the ball over a lot because he does not take chances. When is the last time you saw Calderone make a one handed pass on a pick and roll like Nash, Chris Paul or even Bibby? Jose’s lack of creativity & conservativeness hinders him from distributing the ball effectively and in a timely fashion to his scorers. He just recently started throwing the lob pass & he isn’t very good at that! He rarely connects & when he does, the player dunking usually has to make adjustments in the air because the pass is off the mark.

He drives to the basket well & finishes ok & he has a decent shot, but defensively he is a liability because he can’t keep his check in front of him. So, scoring 12 points & giving up 15 or 20 points to the person he is guarding isn’t getting it done.

It’s time for Moon to go. He lacks aggressiveness and heart. He just wants to shoot the 3 all night long & we already have better 3 point shooters than him. Additionally, he shows great athleticm once or twice a game by flying in and grabbing a rebound or dunking the ball. That is the sort of thing you do to entertain the crowd when you are playing for the Globe Trotters. Moon needs to be a whole lot more consistent in his play. He has to develop a chip on his shoulder on the court in order to help the Raptors win. He made it to the NBA, but I don’t see him sticking around.

Joe, exactly what I’ve about Jamario alll season as hard as it is now with the recent baby etc.

He does a great tomahawk dunk or rim rocker once a game and ends up at 6-10 points. He’s not a starter in the NBA and doesn’t exhibit enough energy to be a bench “energy guy”.

He needs to drive to the rim and beat his guy with speed - just like we need from all our wing guys but he doesn’t have the WILL, just the tools.

Funny thing is if the wing guys would just do that little thing night in and night out, they would be a valuable commodity on this team because of how bad the other wings are, at it and immediately become a fan favorite.

Look at how the fans embraced Jermaine O’Neil for simply taking charges and blocking, Vosk for simply fighting his man in the paint or Joey Graham sticking up for his team last night.

    Simple really; heart and desire.

Moon not sticking around? Not sticking in the NBA?

    That’s a bit much.

But needing to be more aggressive? I agree

Hey another great vlog, both of you guys are always tip top shape in your work.

I think I’ve noticed with the raptors that everytime a shot goes up, i see 1, 2, 3, 4 raptors just watchin the ball whether they miss or not.. do you think that the coaches have to install a mentality to at least send in and AT LEAST 1 more forward along with bosh to crash the boards cuz its sad to see bosh all alone byhimself trying to get some off. rebounds.
Seriously he needs some MAJOR help!
    - Continue the good work Eric, and Paul!
