Hey Eric,
- Lanny @RBC from WhitbyGreat game, I think a thumbs up to Joey G - Solid on the boards, 8 is pretty good for a team that doesn’t have a strong rebounder, especially from the wing players. Another blast from the past, What’s going on with J.Dixon??
Considering the team is losing, they’re giving Crittenton a longer look as the primary back-up to Mike James. So Juan is a 3rd stringer for now.
- E. SmithHope BC is not really thinking of a trade that involves bargnani. How long is this TSN 2 stuff going to go on? What is wrong with the wizards?
- Rob from brantfordHi Eric,
Great to see Andrea playing well on a consistent basis (knock on wood!)and, more importantly, seeing the Raps win some games!
It seemed at one point in the 4th quarter that Will Solomon might have banged knees with one of the Wizards’ players (when he ran into a screen and was called for a foul). Is it anything to be concerned about?
- PatrickNice to see how Solomon , Ukic have filled in for Jose .
- Chas CalzWinning 3/4 has given Raps some momentum .
To win 2/3 vs Griz and Celts(2) would be huge .
Team seems determined to fight for playoff spot .
Hey guys,
- StephanI have a quick update on Nathan Jawai. My brother ran into him this past weekend, and as they were talking Nathan said he believes he will see his first game action within the next two weeks.
Not sure about the rest of you but I’m excited to see what he’s got.
team looks better without jose
3 of 4 with him on the bench
- jose haterhow many points does bargnani have in last 10 games?
- ginomassarihow much game do you see the raptors winning in next 3 games
- ginomassariwhat players do you see in all star game this year
- ginomassariThanks for the update Stephan! Nathan Jawai will be a solid bench player! Baranani SHOULD NOT be traded! And hope Joey players better!
- Raps FanTriano! Triano! Triano!
Eric,
I was really happy in the Bosh interview you gave Triano recognition. You can see they are on the road to being a much better team. To put it together in mid season is tough but Triano made me a believe very quickly.
I said last year Andrea was a better athelete but a worse basketball play. He was much better on his feet with reverse dunks and such but could not get it together. He needed coaching. He has TRIANO!!! Having three bigs playing strong is not a problem it is a long season.
- Miles HershbergJose better on the Bench?
Who are you kidding. He makes everyone around him better. I just wish he would shoot more.
- Miles HershbergI agree with Miles that Ocho does not belong on the bench. Jose has a wicked eye for the game; making plays for his teammates and seeing plays before they happen. As for shooting more, he focus’ on getting the ball to the inside post players or to the open wing man. He said himself that he is not so concerned about shooting as making it happen for his teammates. That is his job on the court…and if the shot is there with no other options he DOES take it. Personally I think the bigger worry for Calderon is he defense play, or rather lack thereof.
- AndreaAndrea
Wish I could have said it so well…I meant on balance he is very important. Your description is very accurate in my view but I still wish he would shoot more.
