- Charlie Villanueva lit up his former team for 25 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists

Thumbs Up:
- Bosh. He was a beast. And he should have got the ball more down the stretch.
Thumbs Down:
- Toronto blew a 13-point lead … came back to take a 3-point lead with 2:11 to go … only to close out the game on the wrong end of a 13-0 run for Milwaukee

- “This is a killer - it pretty much wipes out the vibes of the big wins over Houston and Orlando. This stings.”

This team kills me. So do people who thought this team was just fine after to wins in a row. Howard goes off, tonight Redd goes off. What type of defensive philosophy says no pts in the paint, but we’ll give up 3 pointers instead. This is the NBA, these players can hit that shot if you keep letting them take them. This was a very winnable game and all I hear you and Jonesy saying, “three pointer up, and good” Sad for me to admit, but if this teams continues to play like this (nothing leads me to believe they will change) we will be heading to the lottery. I thought these were the teams that we should be able to beat.
- Julesthis one was a hard one to stomach.
- TomGfromBramptonI know one play does not dictate the result of a game, but what is Solomon doing shooting a three with a full shot clock and less than 2 mins. left in the game???…players need to know their roles…Bosh was hot, all they had to do was feed it inside…another double-digit lead, Gone, we’re going to catch Indiana for the lead in that as well (blowing double-digit leads.
- Mr. TA tough loss. The diffrence was Ridnauer makes zero shots all game but hits two massive threes at the end while Solomon hits zero all night and decides to launch and miss 3’s and looooong 2’s early in the count. Bad decision making when both Bosh and Bargs were on.
The real difference was turnovers and points from those turnovers. You know, the kind that Calderone never makes…
We still have time to go on a run and not lose momentum entirely.
- GaryThis loss should not be devastating .
- Chas CalzLet’s rebound and win next 2 winnable games .
Raps are still in reach of a playoff spot with over half season to go .
The bench has shown some nice play with O’Neal and Jose out .
If the team morale stays high , Raps can climb in the standings gradually .
Forget the last two minutes.
- SidRaptors lost because Solomon took as many shots as Bosh.
Redd does what he does. Bosh could’ve put up a 40.
Triano is my man!!!
That aside there is no excuse for the point guard who is on for Chris and Andrea to only get two shots each in the fourth. We went through that with James and TJ. Will Soloman is a 23% three point shooter and and 41% field goal shooter. For him to take two threes at a critical point in the fourth is dumb basketball.
Jose is an elite shooter. He should shoot more. Soloman should be shown his shooting statistics before every quarter so we do not end up with a TJ or James.
I love a tough middle and softer at the three. If they can hit a jumper from five feet behind the three to win that is an act of God against us. I cannot stand the soft center we always had on defence. I love getting easier baskets by using plays. Triano needs to keep working but it is a pleasure to watch what is going on.
- Miles HershbergWhile watching the last quarter highlights I say that Solomon is more of a euroleague type of player. NBA type….HEEEEELLLLL NOOOOO!!! He is one of the curse that has been put on this roster.
- StevenRe: Chas Calz
Couldn’t have said it better myself. Good call, Got to keep it going, its a loss! The bounce back is important now!
- Lanny @ RBC from Whitbywhat is bc waiting for? we need a trade right now.
please keep will solomon on the bench for as long as possible.
- jonathanEric,
any update on a possible return of Carlos Delfino?
- tonyNope, nothing. There’s nothing new to say ’til Delfino says he actually wants out. *IF* anything happens, my gut tells me it won’t be until the off-season, but, we’ll see
- E. SmithCheers to Chas and Sid.
If Solomon had not taken those ridiculous shots in the final 2 minutes of play it very well could have been our ball game…it SHOULD have been our ball game. Bosh was a menace on the court, Bargnani was getting hot in the second quarter and AP fought it out with Redd in a credible effort. Ocho regreso rapido por favor!!!!!!!
Keep up the great broadcast work!
- AndreaYeah Bosh and Bargs definitely should have got the ball more in the stretch. Another thing…I know it didn’t “really” cost us the game, but that Elson miss call was a huge momentum killer in my opinion. Either way, I think the raps need an acquisition of some sort, maybe a solid D League player would help, like a James White or someone.
- RobPlaying with 2 back-up PG’s with 22 games NBA exp is a real crap shoot, and likely to result in even more inconsistecy, in an already inconsistent group of players.
Bosh, Bargnani, Parker, and someone else have to have BIG games at the same time to have a chance, without Calderon available.
