Another collapse, ho-hum, what’s your excuse now for the team. You have 3 starters (on most teams), 5-7 bench players (on fewer teams) and 4-6 huge disappointments (lucky to be on a D-League team). How soon will a move be made (best guess)? What is the top priority move to be made (again best guess)? Have a good day off. RSS
- Richard SpackmanKapono with over 30 minutes and NO points? What happened to one of the best 3-point shooters around? And where is the aggressive, versatile player we saw a few games/weeks ago??
- AndreaI don’t worry too much about games like last night. Raptors were NOT SUPPOSED to beat Portland in Portland and they didn’t. As simple as that. But monday night should be a win as GSW would be playing back-to-back against a relatively well-rested raptors. A 3-3 road trip will be taken as a darn good road trip under the circumstances and I think the playoffs talks will begin when Raps come home.
- BeburgWhy don’t we all wake up:
It is a no brainer.
This team is going nowhere over the next year and a half.
Many great ideas.
Few worked out.
If we trade bosh we get two good young players and a pick for a guy who will probably leave anyway. We also get two better picks over the next two years.
Secondly Bosh may come back in a year in a half.
Only a real fan who has lost his mind would try to save this team. We need to start over.
- MilesBradon Roy !!!!!!!!!!
We could have had him!!!!!!
- Raps FanDear Blog and Eric,
Do not be Leaf fans. This story is dead. In two years we have lots of money. How do we best position ourselves for that day. Do we pursue a hopeless reposition or we do for a rebuild by trading a Bosh we may lose for nothing. Who else do we trade for what?
- MilesMiles, why do you assume Bosh is leaving? You know that the Raptors can offer almost $30 million more then any other team that bids on him. So don’t assume Bosh is automatically leaving.
- andrewIf Bosh was our only problem he would not be that big a problem.
- MilesAndrew, I do not think Chris is a franchise player. He is an all star. He is very good number 2 on a championship team but he is not dominant. We do not have the great young players and our middle to older players do not feel like they are the pieces to the puzzle. I think we have to start over.
- MilesMiles…smartin up guy. It’s like you want Bosh to leave. Why don’t you think of considering to getting rid of Bargnani and some other guys to add with. Bosh is a player who would never run away from a problem. BC’s assistant is a part of the problem!!
- StevenI hope Bosh stays at a resonable price and we get another allstar 2 or 3 and a beast at 5. That is my first choice. If we are not sure he is staying I would rather bail on him and whoever else it takes to start over.
