Dude, all i can say is this is what BC was waiting 4 so he could be creative. Should be an interesting couple of months. Whatever, love watching and listening if they win or lose don’t matter. Stop busting the man, he knows what he’s doing people.

Eric, I’ve a simple question for you… Let’s say Raptors lose all games on this road trip which will make Triano a 2-13 coach. How on earth will he survive with such a pathetic record? Don’t you think another coaching change is inevitable since making the playoffs would still be a possibility after a 10-21 start?

Is time for a Trade, u better believe it. This team is Slipping and Slipping Fast. The Raptors just don’t got any Toughness,No Grit, To Soft. Trade Proposal hear me Out. Chicago sends Andres Nocioni + Joakim Noah - Toronto Sends Andrea bargnani + expiring Anthony Parker + second round pick to Match Salaries. The Raptors need consistency at the 3spot, Nocioni brings toughness/grit/plays D/Shoots the ball Well. Noah brings energy of the bench/rebounding,especially on the offensive side of the ball/quick for a Big/can score in transition/and plays the 5Spot as a BIG. To me the Bargnani project is over, im sick of hearing potential/he’s in a slump,he’s this, come on Now, swallow are Pride in this Kid, and make a move. Its never gonna Work having your 5 Hanging around the Perimeter shooting 3’s, there’s never gonna be someone in the post grabbing boards, especially when your franchise player likes to step out as Well. Make a Trade Please, Im gonna say it, SAM MITCHELL was Right, we need better Wing Players, these guys just don’t have the foot speed to keep there man in Front. Overall this team needs to get more athletic, being BC is the man, lets get it done.

I agree with you Rosco…although Parker HAS been helping us out more than I think you are giving him credit for. He is a decent all around player, not great at any one thing…

Colagelo has got to make a deal. Watching them play makes me sick. The O’neal deal is too overated.

I’m glad Rosco and I are on the same page about TO needing a solid wing man. Colangelo trading Charlie V still stings to this day, but nobody thought Calderon would become a legit NBA starter. I just don’t understand signing all these jump players with nobody that can slash to the rim and create from triple threat. Don’t make no sense. We are relying on the wing players taking 20 shots a night and shooting 50% from the floor. Can’t be done, it’s very unrealistic.

Im trying to figure out which is softer? This extra soft cushion I am sitting on? or the Toronto Raptors? They do not deserve to wear those black jerseys, their uniforms should be made of lace, dainty, soft, pink lace.

This game is played with your head and with your heart. Triano needs to take a step back and really examine the situation. The players look like lost puppies, instead of fearless competitors. Sure, a trade might make us better, talent wise, but I think this goes beyond talent. It has more to do with philosophies and strategies.

Not one Raptor boxes out on every single possession. Not one. WTF is with that?

What is with all the easy buckets? Where are the flagrant fouls? This is a sport. Heck, there’s more action these days over at the Princess of Wales Theater —The Sound of Music is playing.

With charlie v on the roster theirs even more of a log jam at 4 plus he can’t stay healthy. Why build a team around the PF position. Bostons goto guy is not KG. Agreed that more shots must come from 2 3 and let the 4 5 fight for position down low because the rebounding is horrible and has been for years. Oak and Davis.

Imo the key to the season will be the leadership of Bosh and O’Neal .. If their goal is a playoff spot and they play team ball , Raps can recover and get to .500 .
Both need to back Triano 100%
I don’t like Bosh barking at his teammates on the court ?

Hindsight is ALWAYS 20-20. Most nba experts believed the raptors to be more a 17-10 than a 10-17 team.
The least us fans can do is stay away from booing (considering the opponents till Mid-Jan) on the home floor.

PS: Any fan that actually boos the home team on a New Year’s Eve has got to be the most no life fan. I’m sure Eric would agree.

I don’t like saying “I told you so” but in this case it simply cannot be helped.
A few weeks ago when things started going wrong, many listeners and many more on this blog seemed to think that Sam was the problem. I myself am no basketball expert but it was glaringly obvious that Sam was not the problem but rather the players were to blame for their sub par performances. It’s too easy for people who do not much about a sport to blame the coach when a team is not living up to their expectations, but the reality is the players we have simply do not have the talent or the desire to want to play their hardest every night, or perhaps both.
Now that Sam is gone and Triano is doing considerably worse in his first few weeks I guess we get ride of Colangelo, and if that doesn’t work maybe we should replace the trainer, water and towel boys as well.

Stephan, I have to agree with you. I also thought that Mitchell was only part of the problem. The bigger problem is that nobody puts the effort in, mentally they just aren’t there. Well not nobody, I will say Calderon, O’Neal, Parker and Graham as of late have been bringing it night in and night out. I can’t really get a read on Bosh though, he seems out of sorts and I wasn’t sure if he was not trying or if something is up (injury perhaps, fatigue). I thought he wasn’t trying but after seeing him chew out Moon I think he is still playing hard, but something is up. Moon seems to have regressed big time. I thought he was much more composed as a rookie, now he makes mistakes and stupid decissions he just didn’t make last season. And who in the organization told him he is a good shooter. every time he shoots something taht isn’t a lay-up or dunk my instinct is to scream NOOOOO. I can’t help it.
