VLOG

It’s coming.  We should have it up and running by about 1:30pm - 2:00pm at the latest.  Fortunately/Unfortunately, it will be in front of more ugly curtains in the hotel room … ’cause it’s raining outside, and I’m not vlogging in the rain!  Not with a leather jacket.

Too bad we can’t get out on the streets though - a vlog in front of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame may have been nice.

Though that’s about the only thing Cleveland’s got going for itself.  I’m not a big fan of this city - despite it being a good sports town.

NO CHANGES

I talked to Jay Triano about an hour ago and he said there are no changes coming to the starting line up.  He admitted that his second unit is hurting a bit while Kris Humphries is out, but he wants to establish a rotation - and stick to it - instead of constantly making changes to the line up.

Thus, it’ll be Chris Bosh, Jermaine O’Neal, Andrea Bargnani, Anthony Parker, and Jose Calderon again.  AP will likely draw the assignment of trying to slow down (note:  not “shut down” (nobody can or will do that)) LeBron James.  Though Bargs may indeed get his licks at “The King”.

NO REGRETS

I also had a chance to speak with Jermaine O’Neal.  If you’ll recall … J.O. told us back in the summer that he was really picking between a couple of teams when push came to shove:  Cleveland or Toronto.

The Raps have struggled … while Cleveland is right on the heels of the Boston Celtics for the top record in the East.

But O’Neal said he has no regrets about coming to Toronto.  He still likes the core better in Toronto and thinks there is still a ton of time for the Raptors to turn it around.  He stressed that it’s not time to panic - that there’s still 75% of the season to go!

O’Neal also said he wasn’t sure if he would have been a good fit in Cleveland given that Zydrunas Ilgauskas was still going to be a Cav.  So that may be new info:  Whatever trade Cleveland was trying to work out with Indy, did NOT include Big Z.

Check back for the Vlog in about 90 minutes, and be sure to tune in to the FAN 590 tonight at 7:00pm for the Raptors and Cavs.

Jonesy will have a 1 on 1 with Anthony Parker during our halftime show.

Let james get his tonight, shut down the rest. This is the key to beating cleveland. Play him staight up, make him take jumpers. Are bigs have to outplay their’s if we have a chance. Jose has to guard better. No question
