Now that Sarah Palin is back in Alaska …Thank God. I have this message on behalf of the Dino Nation.

    Drive Jamario Drive.

Oh and you might want to step it up on Defense too please.

You guys in town for Hoops tomorrow Eric or are you off to Charlotte?

How are the raptors still being outscored in the paint with three good post players? This teams gotta stop with the three balls. Who here thinks Moon should never step outside that three point line unless he’s setting a pick or grabing a board. Whats wrong with a little give and go under the hoop with Oneal, Bosh and Bargnani. Paint,Post-up, fouls free throws and defence. Someone let Parker know the Boogy Man dosent live under the basket, DRIVE MAN DRIVE. Teams don’t have to work hard to defend the raptors, they just sit back and wait for the rebounds because they know these guys put up jumpers allnight.

    Raps have the Talent

My three Ideas that really showed.

Raps do not move thru they keey or anywhere else on offence. they are too stagnant.
Great defenses like Detroit are layered. You beat one guy you move to the next. The raptors you beat one guy you are in.
Oneil was strong at everything except scoring and he was forcing that. I think he should concentrate on everything else and when he presses into the paint and the defense collapses onto him there should be guys to kick out to or flip the ball too. He scoring will come when the team is involved and he has more space.
The Raps have the players now. they just have to get them involved. It cannot be the Bosh, Calderon 70% Oneil show.

I had one big problem with the game last night.

Will Soloman. He should have reconized that Chris Bosh had it rolling out there. He made a couple of questionable plays and called his own number when it really should have gone to Bosh. Once that happened the momentum really started to shift and instead of being down by two we were down by ten. I was really hoping he would have learned something on from watching the team during is most recent dnp stretch.. guess not. He did play well at times however.. just didn’t use his head when it counted. :(

    Trade Proposal:

Let’s trade for Al Harrintgon. He is not happy in Golden State so much so that Don Nelson is looking to trade him. In the interest of developing Brandan Wright, Harrington is now on the bench. You can’t tell me you would rather see Harrington starting in front of Jamario Moon. Our weakness is on the wings and although harrington is a Poer Forward think of the mismatches that could be created if he played SF…I think this is a slam dunk. Who you trade for him is colangelos job, but there are alot of peices. Kapono, Moon, Graham any of them could go!

Disappointing game. This is what happens when you take a shorthanded team lightly and great action plan by Curry. Sam got out-coached by MC plain and simple.

When doesn’t Sam get out-coached against good teams? Happens all the time. Box-out and they’ll win games, plain and simple. Way too many second chance opps for the Pistons, huge difference maker. The Raps dont box-out, ever. They jump to the ball in the air, and get burned, constantly. Theoretically, if you are boxing out properly, the ball should be able to come doen and hit the ground, without you having to worry about giving up the rebound.

Eric, thanks alot man. I really appreciate it. Wilner posted Jays Talk usually and it was awesome to listen to after a shift. Now i can stay updated about the other Toronto team that i love. Once again, much appreciated.

    Glad to help Paul

Just keep in mind … we don’t do “The Rap” after every game - like Wilner does.

The post-game show only airs on nights when Jonesy and I aren’t on the road … or … not leaving Toronto to fly to another city.

Roughly speaking, just estimating, we’ll probably only have 30 post-game shows this year.

Norm Rumack (and/or Roger Lajoie) will do a hybrid post-game show on most nights following a Raptors game — but they’ll be talking other sports too.

See point # 11 Gino. I just explained why we can’t do a post-game show on the road.
