Thumbs Up:
- Free throw shooting for Toronto (23/26 FT – including CLUTCH free throws down the stretch in the 4TH)
Thumbs Down:
- Bench scoring. Only Jason Kapono (9 points) scored off Toronto’s bench.
Smith says:
“This was the kind of game that the Raptors wouldn’t have won last year. They wouldn’t have come back. They’d relinquish a lead – even a big lead – and not have the drive to be able to get themselves back in it … let alone … win! This was a character win – on the road – and it could be a sign of good things to come this season if that attitude sticks.”
Jones Says:
“Toronto seems to be believing in Sam Mitchell’s philosophy that outside of the Big 3, everyone is going to get their turn to contribute at some point this season. Tonight, it was Jamario Moon … at both ends of the floor.”
“V-Tech” 3-In-To-Win Give-Away:
The Raptors were 8/16 from 3PT range
Next game:
Wenesday November 5 2008 – Detroit @ Toronto.

Hi..
- Ken HookI know how much you hate the fans at the end of a close game calling for Pizza Pizza, rather than cheering the Raptors on to victory.
Maybe you could suggest to the “suits” that the free slice be given away only if the Raptors won…Then the fans would be cheering for both the Raptors and the pizza..*s*
Just a thought.!!
I think Moon has to spend the next 30 days working his butt off doing everything he was supposed to during his off-season. It is glaringly apparent he blew it off and did less than nothing. He only needs to do two things well before doing anything else, drive to the basket and defend. This is make-or-break time for his career.
- Richard SpackmanCalderon was unbelievable, with his 2nd 43 min game and 31 mins straight vs Milw. He had 5 TO’s in the 2nd half, most when he was gassed, 3 on passes, 1 out of bounds, 1 double dribble (which elicited a T from Sam,after which the Rap’s went on a run)) and 1 Palming the ball. Not a repeatable problem.
Rap’s biggest problem is still the back-up PG, as Jose can’t keep this up. What is Solomons status, as he is needed, as Ukic will still not be succesful until he can shoot, and score??
- Johnn19Last years Moon Man is back with a new twist, 3pt FG’s
- Johnn195/8 for 3 games, with 5 STLS & 4 BLKS & 10PPG.
Hey guys,
Although I miss Chuck so much and he’s pretty hard to replace, I’ve began to listen to you guys more and I’m starting to realize that you two are very good announcers and have helped me enjoy watching Raptors games and listening on the radio. No offense to this new guy, but I don’t think he is a part of the Raptors. I don’t mean it badly. I mean that he’s not emotionally attached to the team like you guys are. He’s a good announcer, but I feel like I’m watching an ESPN broadcast listening to him.
Anyways, you don’t have to comment on the announcers. Just remember that I like you guys alot and it’s very relaxing to watch a game and listen to the radio for commentary.
Now to the Raptors. I have enjoyed what I have seen so far from the Raptors. Bosh has looked unbelievable. He seems to be more of a leader late in games and makes big shots for us.
Thanks,
- WarrenIn all 3 games , Raps 3-pt shooting was crucial advantage -
- Chas Calz8/16 for Raps -24 pts
3/13 for Bucks -9 pts
