1. Somebody … please … PLEASE tell me I was hallucinating … please tell me that wasn’t LeBron’s MOM jumping out of the stands at Kevin Garnett on Monday night after James got locked-up by Paul Pierce and went sailing into the crowd along the baseline. Please tell me I was dreaming.

2. Lindsey Hunter? Really?

3. I think Avery Johnson would be a PERFECT fit for a team like the Bulls. He’s calm, but confident. He’s demanding, but player-friendly as well. He’s intense, but understanding. Those traits would be an asset for a club with a lot of young assets that may have been jaded by a very tough coach in Scott Skiles.

4. If Kobe Bryant is healthy, I think the Lakers are up 3-1 in their series against the Jazz. That said, all 4 games have been so close … you could make the case for either team having swept the series already. Each game has come down to the final few minutes.

5. LeBron James was 7 for 20 from the field in Game 4 against the Celtics; he came into that game shooting 22% through the first 3 games of the series … and … miraculously … the Cavs are still tied 2-2 against Boston. Unreal.

6. Ray Allen needs to step it up. Big time.

7. I’m all for showmanship, but is anybody else kind of tired of LeBron’s ‘cloud of dust’ rosin schtick before every game?

8. For all of those folks that get annoyed watching Chris Bosh struggle against a guy like Anderson Varejao … just check out what Andy’s been doing against Kevin Garnett the past couple of games!

9. I don’t believe Ronny Turiaf’s foul on Ronnie Price on Sunday was a flagrant. It didn’t look dirty to me. It was a hard foul but not a flagrant foul.

10. I appreciate those of you who have made comments about me - or Jonesy - in regards to the future of the Raptors TV broadcasts. So have had positive things to say … others have weighed-in on the other side of the coin. But trust me when I tell you … I have NO idea what direction the Raptors/MLSE are heading. It’s a long summer, and I’m sure an exhaustive search will go on to find Chuck Swirsky’s replacement. His will be big shoes to fill.

11. “We’ve got to win the game. We have the confidence we can do it.” - Jameer Nelson said that. And, supposedly, that was his ‘guarantee’ for Game 5. Uhhh, okay. To me, that’s media hype … not a ‘guaranteed victory’. I mean, what’s he supposed to say?

12. Anybody out there still talking trash about the San Antonio Spurs? They got hammered in Games 1 and 2 but then thrashed the Hornets in Games 3 and 4. Home court has been HUGE in this series and every series throughout Round 2. Only one home team (Orlando) has lost a home game in this round. Home teams are 15-1.
