The Toronto Raptors announced on Wednesday evening the results of Jorge Garbajosa’s examination with Dr. Mark Myerson – in Baltimore – on Monday afternoon.
After checking-out Garbo, Dr. Myerson – a renowned foot and ankle specialist - reported that he concurs with the recommendation of the Raptors medical staff that Garbajosa’s injury does indeed require further surgery.
A date for the surgery on the 2ND-year forward has yet to be determined and no timetable has been established for his return to basketball activity (practice or games). Thus, Garbajosa will remain on the Inactive List indefinitely.
