Hockeyville Prospect Needs Your Help

Thursday, March 25th, 2010

Here is an email from  Kim asking for help.  Do what you can and GOOD LUCK ALEXANDRIA!!!!
Message:  ALEXANDRIA NEEDS YOUR HELP
My little town of Alexandria Ontario(3,300 POP) is in the running for HOCKEYVILLE 2010. We are waiting and hoping we made top 5! we find out Saturday, during game 2 of CBC Hockey Night in Canada (aprox 11-11:30 pm)..myself,Jodi and Dan (hockeyville crew) and our town have been doing all we can to win this title.

Our arena “The Billy Gebbie” means so much to our small town. Not only is it our rink and keeps our towns kids in hockey. The building also houses our library and community room. We had to replace the zamboin and now our rink boards need work. being a small town “tax dollars ” are not always there. So Kraft Hockeyville would be ideal to help keep the rink going.

We are asking for support from everyone..
Please watch CBC Hockey Night in Canada..and when you here ALEXANDRIA ON is one of top 5 ..please vote for our town (no limit to votes!) vote often.

you have from March 27 after announcing top 5 – March 31 (11:59pm) to vote and help support our quest for Hockeyville 2010.
voting is easy  www.alexandria4hockeyville.com  0r phone 1-866-533-8066

Thank you so much

With all the talk about free speech after the Ann Coulter insanity at Ottawa U , Randall got a comment from a listener/internet surfer about postings on his blog and comments on the radio rantbacks.  Check out our segment on it.

Mike Fishers squeeze took over Scotiabank Wednesday night. Listener Michael McPherson was there and sent over some pics.  I wasn’t there but I now regret missing the “flying pick up truck” bit.

Doc’s Exclusive Tiger Interview

Monday, March 22nd, 2010

Tiger Woods did a couple of exclusive one on one interviews to get some of the hanging issues out of the way before he competes at the Masters.  ESPN and The Golf Channel threw some softball questions but I believe I got to the gutsier issues in my one on one with Tiger.  Check it out.

Lady Writer Calls Us Drivel

Monday, March 15th, 2010

An Ottawa Citizen writer penned an article entitled “Ottawa’s Morning Radio Drivel”.  And it appears I’m the star of the piece.  You can click on the audio below to hear the quip she writes about at the front of her story and then click on the link to read all about it.  I love it!!!!  Just one correction m’am.  I was not imitating Tony Soprano.  It was Joey from Friends.  He’s the guy who is known for saying  “How YOU doin’”.
