They have plans for a 20 million dollar facility that will be builty in phases.
Twisters board member Andoret Bernard says as things stand they don’t have the space for all the people who want to use the building.
The community has grown so much, and due to Twisters reputation with our coaching staff we simply can’t keep up with the demand. In fact we have to turn some potential gymnasts away because if it’s overcrowded it’s unsafe at Twisters to train there.
The City is contributing 550 thousand dollars to offset development cost charges and certain permit costs.
However Bernard says the rest of the money to build the project will come from fundraising rather than tax money.
