A black bear has been seen poking around Abbotsford over the last week or so.
The bear, which seems to be a juvenile, was most recently spotted on the Abbotsford Virtual School grounds on Pine avenue Wednesday.
Abbotsford police say the bear has popped out of the woods a few times and wandered around before disappearing back into the woods.
If you hear of it being in your area it might be a good idea to keep kids and pets indoors.
And avoid keeping attractants outside overnight, like barbeques, bird feeders. or garbage.
If you see a bear call 1-877-952- RAPP, unless the bear is aggressive in which case call police.
